Download IceChat (full version) from: www.icechat.net/site/
Install IceChat

In the "completing IceChat setup wizard" window check the Start IceChat box.

Advance to "IceChat First Time Setup" window. Enter the nick you want.

In the "Server Name" window type irc.sierranet.org
Advance until IceChat starts.

Again type irc.sierranet.org in the server box. Click "Next" button and keep advancing until it asks for the nickname you want.

Enter nickname. Advance until window closes. "irc.sierranet.org" should now be listed in your favorite servers window. Just double click it to join the server.

The channel name is "#comicality" (no quotes). You can add it to your favorite channels list by clicking "Favorite Channels" in the left column and clicking the "Add" button. This way you won't have to type in the channel name each time you want to join. Just double click it on the list. If you don't want to add the channel to your favorite channels list, simply type "/join #comicality" (without the quotes) in the box at the bottom (edit box) and press your "enter" key after you've connected to The server.  Then say "hello" to us!
